This is a matching set of six "tinned" cast steel spoons from the late 1800's. All six spoons measure 5 3/4" in length. All six have the makers mark of the Wallace Brothers, along with the pattern code of 900/WB/W. The Wallace brothers formed their company in 1871 in Wallingford, Connecticut. They remained in business under this name until 1879, when they merged with their father and became known as R. Wallace & Sons Manufacturing Company. This set of cast steel tinned spoons came out of an East Tennessee collection. I don't know the history of where these came from other than that.
