Five US Eagle Buttons for the M1904, M1917 and M1918 Overcoat

This is a et of five rimmed US Eagle buttons that were used with the US M1904, M1917 and M1918 overcoat. All five buttons have the same back mark, "AMERICAN BUTTON CO./NEWARK N.J.". The faces of the buttons all show the same pattern of wear and match almost perfectly. Three of the shanks are standing tall, the other two are leaning but could probably be straightened. They will go a long way in helping restore your US "trench coat".
