This is a post card commemorating the annexation of Sudetenland into the German Third Reich that occurred on 21 September, 1938. The postcard was designed by Heinrich Hoffman, Hitler's personal photographer. It shows the outline of Germany, to include Austria and the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia. An image of Hitler and Konrad Henlein, leader of the Sudeten German party, is in the center. Printed at the bottom of the postcard is WIR DANKEN UNSERM FUHRER (We Thank Our Leader). The postcard is in very good condition, with no bent corners and showing vibrant colors. It comes in a protective clear sleeve. This will make a great addition to any pre WWII German collection.
