WWII German Wool Knit Gloves Size II

This is a set of German wool knit gloves used during World War II. This pair is a size II, medium, as indicated by the two green rings inside the wrist area. I have seen this ring size color in white and green, but always on the inside of the wrist area. The gloves are the correct field gray, and show a ton of use. They both have multiple holes scattered about, and both show some repair by darning in the field. A lot of the holes are caused by insect damage caused by improper storage. While the pair shows considerable use, the stitching remains tight and the elastic in the wrist is still flexible. The pair displays well and will add the finishing touch to your cold weather display or overall WWII German display.
