WWII US Third Army Full Color Patch

This is a US Third Army patch from the World War II period. The patch measures 2 1/8" in diameter. The patch is round with a white letter A on a blue back ground circled in red and blue. The Third Army, now named the US Army Central, was first established on 7 November, 1918 and remained in service until 2 July, 1919. It was reactivated on 15 September, 1932 and remained on active service until 1974. It was once again reactivated on 3 December, 1982 as the United States Army Central Command and remains active today, having served as a theater army during WWI and WWII, and supplying men and equipment during the Iraq and Afghanistan operations. The one piece patch is all machine sewn. There is no moth damage on the patch at all. I do not believe this patch has ever been sewn on a uniform. If you have a patch collection your gonna need one of these to complete it.
