Item #: WR805

This is a set of British made spurs used during the WWI period. They are complete with leather straps and lace protectors. This style of spur used the fixed button design to attach leathers straps for wear, with one end being adjustable by a buckle. During WWI the issued Cavalry boot was of a lace up design, hence the introduction of the lace protector. This set of British made spurs are in good condition, having no twists or bends. Most of the silver plating remains on both spurs. The inside of each spur is stamped SERVICE/ENGLAND. The spur straps are brown leather pieces that show evidence of wear, as do the lace protectors. These things display like a million bucks.
