Sterling Silver Presentation Platter

This is a sterling silver presentation platter from the 1950's. This oval platter measures 9 1/4" long and 6 1/4" wide. Engraved on the front of the platter at the top is the insignia of the 101st Airborne. In the center of the platter is engraved:"Lt & Mrs William Joseph O'Keefe Jr/1 February 57/ From/Officers & Ladies/101st Airborne Division Artillery/Ft Campbell, Ky". These platters were popular gifts among the officers clubs of the military during the 1950's and 1960's. The back of the platter has the hallmark of the Camille International Silver Company. The platter is tarnished, but should clean up just fine.
