WWII US Army Thirty First Corps Patch

This is a US Army Thirty First Corps patch from the World War II period. The patch measures 2 15/16" at the widest point and 2 3/4" high. The patch is in the shape of a hexagon with three white triangular shapes on a blue background with a blue border. The blue and white colors represent the corps level of organization. The US Thirty First Corps was a fictional, or "ghost" corps. I have been unable to find any information about this corps. This one piece patch is all machine sewn. There is no moth damage on the patch and it has have never been on a uniform. If you collect WWII US patches you gotta have one of these.
